Verde Valley Wine Trail Announces the Launch of its Specialty License Plate
Arizona motorists will have an eye-catching and tangible way to not only help support Arizona wineries. The Verde Valley Wine Trail is pleased to announce the launch of its Verde Valley Wine Trail specialty plate. It is now available for both vehicles and motorcycles through the Arizona Department of Motor Vehicles.
Sterling West, a Sedona-based muralist, portrait artist and plein air painter, designed the artwork for the license plate. His vibrant, energetic work aims to perfectly capture the spirit of the Southwest and its burgeoning wine industry.
The proceeds from the sale of the license plate will be an ongoing fundraiser for the Verde Valley Wine Trail 501(c)3, with the money going towards the support of Arizona wineries.
The Verde Valley Wine Trail plays a key role in educating and supporting a number of important topics related to Arizona’s vibrant and booming wine and tourism industry. Over 28 wineries are located in the north central region of Arizona, which farm more than 136 acres of wine grapes. Grape farming is a low water usage crop with a high dollar return.
When people purchase this license plate, they are helping to preserve the places they love to explore throughout northern Arizona.
